"I witnessed something amazing in a Dog willing class recently. Lina, was working with an abused and shy Shih Tzu that was in her class. The dog would only eat its own kibble and it was a challenge to get it to take turkey slices as a treat. In dog training, we must find something that the dog finds reinforcing so that we can reward behaviors we want. If we can't find something for the dog to work for, most trainers resort to punishment: sit or I will push on your butt. Lina never once lost her patience. She continued to help the pet guardian work towards her goals without forcing the dog to do anything it was uncomfortable with. At the end of the 6 week long course, everything had come together. The dog was taking turkey as treats and seemed to be really motivated. I continue to be amazed by Lina as a trainer, and the force free dog training method! Thanks Dog Willing for helping me and other pet owners bring out the best in our dog!"
