Hello there! I'm Rachel Williams, the dedicated owner, Certified DogSmith Trainer & Canine Behavior Specialist, and lead professional at The DogSmith of Palm Beach County.

I use only scientifically-backed, positive reinforcement methods to build a trusting and joyous bond between you and your dog. We firmly believe that effective training should be educational, enjoyable, and conducted without the use of pain, fear, or intimidation.

I continually maintain my professional expertise and uphold The DogSmith pledge: to utilize my knowledge and skills for the benefit of you and your pets, practicing my profession conscientiously and adhering to the highest ethical standards. Who better to care for your precious furry family member than a Certified DogSmith Trainer & Canine Behavior Specialist.  Our full service and uniquely situated facility is fondly known as "The DogSmith Ranch" and is conveniently located in the Palm Beach County estates near Jupiter. Clients love telling their pups they are going to "The Ranch" to play or stay with friends while learning new skills.

Our spacious, two-acre property is a dog paradise for daycare or extended stays:

• Play Areas: We feature large, fully-fenced yards, including 3 synthetic turf yards for clean play, and a separate "VIP" section for pets needing more privacy.
• Water Fun: Our unique swimming pool is perfect for specialized water therapy sessions, confident play, and cooling off!
• Comfort & Enrichment: Fun agility equipment, resting areas in the shade, water misters set up in the trees for hot days, and plenty of scheduled A/C indoor breaks throughout the day.

Early Education Focus

We primarily focus on engaging young puppies and dogs. We have the perfect setup for socializing them and building a foundation of basic skills to ensure they receive the best possible start in their learning journey. The skills and confidence they learn with us will serve them throughout a long and happy life.

We take pups in as early as 8 weeks old (as long as they are up-to-date on their shots for their age). Early socialization is the single most important step in creating the wonderful, well-behaved companion you desire for life. We make sure your puppy gets the best possible start!

Safety, Security, and Compliance

Your fluffy family member's safety and well-being are our top priority.

• Veterinary Care: We maintain a personal relationship with a local vet who is on standby in the unlikely event we ever need assistance, and a 24-hour Emergency Vet is only 10 minutes away from our facility.
• Official Oversight: The DogSmith Ranch operates under a Conditional Use Permit requiring regular, unannounced checks from Animal Care and Control officers. These inspections include background checks on staff, facility inspections, and paperwork checks on shot records. We are proud to embrace these visits, as they help ensure we provide the absolute best care for your pets.
